Something funny is that the whole time I was a data scientist I never stopped referring to myself as an astronomer.

I would tell other developers “I’m just an astronomer pretending to be a software developer!”

Maybe getting laid off was the best thing that could happen to me because it’s leading me back home. I’m not where I want to be yet, but the path forward is less murky.

I can’t wait to see where I go from here!
